"LIVING LONDON."
At the Town Hall, Masterton, for two nights and an afternoon, commencing next Friday, 27th inst., Messrs J. H. and N. Taib present the famous living picture, "Living London," which has been so phenomenally successful throughout New Zealand and Australia. The 280 views comprising this series are reproduced by the latest scientific methods, there being absolutely no flickering or' glare. "Living London," (says an exchange) is a marvel of fidelity and enlightenment, besides being a source for eminisoent pleasure to thoee who have seen some of the many scenes, whioh are displayed by this exhibition with such realistic effeot. The entire |ife of busy, throbbing London is shown. The general conditions of the vast centre, from the luxurious West to the humble East End, the historical buildings, the thronged streets, the statutes \ and monuments, the marvellous provision that is made for the food supDlies of the great city, the Thames at work and at pleasure and the thousands of men and women who work for a living are seen at their strange and multitudinous onoupations. The whole idea of these wonderful pictures j*b a most comprehensive and really excellent one, and the subject is undeniably instructive as well as interesting. The very high enconiurns'-of praise bestowed on "Living London" b7 the metropolitan press, justify the anticipation of a highly successful season here. The box plan is now open at Miss A. E. Rive's.
