EASTERN PRUSSIA.
REPRESSING THE POLES. Received Maroh 29,, 7.28 a.m. LONDON. March 28. The Standard's Berlin correspondent states that with a view to stopping the sale of estates in Eastern Prussia to anti-Germau Poles the Kaiser has conferred peerages on a number of wealthy merohants, mostly of Jewish origin. The objeot is to encuurage the purchase and entail the estates permanently, thus preventing the Poles securing the land.
