THE CHEVIOT SHOW.

CHEVIOT, March 23. The Cheviot Sbow was held today. A good all round lot of far mera' sheep were shown, especially in breeding ewes,< fat lambs, and wethers, ail being in a healthy condition. The draught horses showed a distinot improvement on previous years, most of the exhibits being an excellent stamp of farm horse. Owing to the absence of pens, very few cattle were entered. With the exoeption of potatoes, which had not been affected by the blight, the show of roots was not so good as in previous years. The display of fruit, particularly apples, was remarkably good.
