RE-APPEARANCE OF CZERNY.
The notable magician, illusionist, and professional dealer in magic generally, Czerny, will make his reappearance in Mastertonat the Town [ Hall, on Thursday next, undar the , management of Mr William Anderson. Czerny is said to bring a budget of romantic marvels that would in the middle ages have secured for him a short shrift at the stake. Included in the entertainment will be the latest development of the bioscope—the tableauscope. The films are reported to b8 one and all of great human interest, and quite-up-to-date. The Wellington Evening Post, spoakiug of Czerny, said* 'Czerny ia billed as Prince of Prestidigitateurs. The title is imposing, but the artist is of a calibre in keeping with his professions. He quickly won tho ODjiroval oE his large audiouce, and when the curtain was finally rung down at a quarter to eleven o'clock he had thoroughly won the wonder aud admiration of them all. Undoubtedly Czerny is on the highest plane of legerdemain. All his tricus are marked by a clearness of manipualtion, a ne plus ultra of dexterity, that betokens the true artist, aud bespeaks the rapt attention of the most critionl. There is nothing o£ the "one-atriug fiddler" in the entertainment.' Ozerny's legerdemain and necromancy • are, varied indeed, while aa additional attractions he has a surprising capacity for feats of memory." The box plan is now open at Miss Rive's.
