A Hobart cablegram states that while a special train was convoying Williamson's Opera Company, from Launceston, a truck took lire and the costumes used in the operas "Princess Ida" and th* "Mikado" were extensively injured. The damage is estimated at £IOOO. It is supposed the fire originated from a spark from the engine. . The London Doily Telegraph haathe following ou the British Minis try i—""lt seems that there ia no Cabinet, but only a conglomeration of place-holders; to'all the members of - which the Prime Minister has issued a license 'to go as they please,' so long as they can scrape together a Radical majority of sorts. . . .
