COMPULSORY MILITARY SERVICE. WELLINGTON, February 22. The Government intends to enforoe a regulation by which all cadets entering the Civil Servce are compelled to join volunteer corDS and to serve from the age of 18 to 21 yeard. Cadets, who are already in service, are to be urged to join volunteer corps, and beads of Departments have been instructed to give every facility to members of the service who are volunteers, to attend parades, drills and camps.
