THE NATIVE TROUBLE. __ Received February 16, 8.38 a.m. CAPETOWN, February 15. Three chiefs and five hundred natives in the Nidillovo diatriot'of Natal thanked the Hon. H. D. Winer, Secretary for Natjve Affairs, for bis visit, and promised to pay the poll-tax. , The tension is relieved!, Europeans in the vicinity had constructed laagers, fearing an attack. TWO NATIVES SHOT. Received Fbbruary 16, 10.40 p.m. CAPETOWN, February 16. Two natives, guilty of participating in the attack upon the police, in the Richmond district, when Inspector Hunt and a trooper were killed, have been oourtmartialled, and were shot in the presence of the tribe. The authorities have ordered the tribe to arrest other guilty natives. The kraals and orops of the natives implicated in the affair have been destroyed. All is now quiet.
