TOWN HALL.
The entertainment to be presented at the Town Hall on Tuesday next by Ozerny, "Prince of Prestigitateurs" under the drection of William Anderson, is spoken of as a revelation m this class of performance. Ozerny is a magician whose work is claimed to , be quite' apart from the ordinary lines uf a magical entertainment The billiard balls and coloured silk handkerchiefs which form the principal stock-in-trade of the ordinary conjuror are eschewed by Ozerny altogether. His entertainment partakes of the nature of "grand magic," as distinct from "parlor-magio," and has been built up by him on quite original lines. Ozerny has been a close student of his art for nearly twenty years, and realising that it was from the East that all knowledge of mystic science originated, he ha* taken an ancient Egyptian palace as a setting for his principal items. He is accompanied by a staff of trained illusionists, and many of his sensations are stated to be quite original, whilst all, with only a few exceptions, are billed as quite new to Now Zealand. The box plan is at Miss Kive's.
