ACCIDENT TO LOCAL CHILD.
Joyce Lashford, aged 10 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lashford, Lane Street, Wallaceville, fell from a tree near her home on Monday evening, and was found suffering from concussion and abrasions to the face. After being attended to by the local doctor, she was conveyed to the "Wellington Hospital by the Free Ambulance. On enquiry later it was found that the child was not seriously injured.
