Police v. George Mathesonr. — Charge of allowing two head of cattle to wander within the Municipality. Fined 10s, and costs of Court. 5s 6d. The applications of Robert Buchanan, of Waipori, "and On Tie, for whom Mr. King appeared, for slaughtering licenses were granted. Hammond v. Johnston.— Claim of £6 10s, for cattle trespass. £4 was tendered and paid' into Court. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgment for £4. Hammond v. Bicshe. — Claim of £6 10«, for cattle trespass. Plea : Not indebted. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgment for £3 19s ; costs of Court, £1 11s, and professional costs, £lls. Hammond v. M'Alister. — Claim of 13s for cattle trespass. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Defendant denied the ownership of the beast, but this defence was not sustained. Judgment for 13s, and costs of Court 17s. Hammond v. Eedpath.—Qieam. of 13s for
cattle trespass. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. The defendant had offered to pay the damage. Judgment for 13s, but without costs. Hammond v. Dumbleton.— Claim of 13s for cattle trespass. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgment for ss ; and costs of Court, 17s. Hammond v. Mills. — A similar case to the preceding one. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgment for £1 15s, and costs of Court, £1 3s. Hogg v. Michael.— Claim of £5 for cattle trespass. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgment for 10s ; costs of Court, 18s ; and witness expenses, 10s. Hogg v. Michael. — Claim of £5 for cafcttle trespass. Mr. M'Coy for plaintiff. Judgmnet for £1 ; coats of court, 11s j and professional costs, £1 Is. Herbert and another v. Ford.— Summons not served in time. Pearson v. Mussell. — Amount paid into' Court.
