WARDEN'S COURT, LAWRENCE.

(Before E. H. Carew, Esq., Warden.) Monday, January, 25, 1874. Squires v. Edie and others. — Complaint of neglecting to renew water licenses. Mr. M'Coy for defendants pleaded guilty. Fined 103 in lieu of forfeiture. The application of William Talbot and Thomas Buckley for an extended claim of 2 acres, situated at the Beaumont, was granted, also an application by the same parties for a water race. The application of David Davis for a tail race at Tuapeka river was granted. The following applications for agricultural lease* in block 1., Crookston, were postponed, as one Q-amble had written to the authorities that Lancaster has employed the others as dummies, or something to that effect: — Richard Lancaster, for section 40 ; Robert Hills, for section 41 ; Jacob Davidson, for section 42.
