All horses to be the property of bona fide owners for three months previous to the race. All horseß within a radius of 25 miles are considered district horses. REGULATIONS. 1. No person shall be allowed to run or enter a horse at these i*aces unless he be qualified as a subscriber of not less than one guinea to the race fund. 2. No entries will be received for any of the above raceß except upon this condition, viz., that all disputes, claims, and objections shall be decided by the Stewards ; and their decision on all points connected with the carrying out of this programme shall be final. 3. General entries to be sent in to the Secretary at Mr. T. Cornish's Roxburgh Ferry Hotel before 8 p.m. on Saturday, 27th December, 1873. 4. Jockey costume will be strictly enforced. Any jockey riding in false colors will be disqualified. 5. Five per cent, will be deducted from the gross amount for expenses. 6. In all raceß three horses to start, or no race. 7. The Dunßtan Jockey Club Rules wUI be strictly enforced. 8. The ATHLETIC SPORTS consist of Men's Foot Races, Boy's Foot Races, Tilting, Hop, Step, and Jump, Quoits, &c. RULES. r 1. That no publican's bid be accepted for a booth unless he first become a subscriber of £2 to the race funds. 2. That no person beentitled to enter a horse unless he first b<4fcne a subscriber of£l to the race funds. 3. Any person entering a horse beyond the specified distance, in any race, wiU sot be entitled to prize money. 4. Any person entering & horse -that has won over, the' specified prize in any race, will not be entitled to prize money * d, A&j protest to be lodged with the Committee within, ten minutes after competition* 6, Any person, lodging a protest with the Committee must deposit -the sum of £1 before the case will be heard by the Committee. If the decision is given against the protest, the .deposit to be forfeited. -7. Any jockey found to be carrying light weight Will not be entitled to prize money. - 8. That the decision of Committee be final in all ease*.
