RESIDENT MAGISTRATES' COURT LA.WRENCB. (Before Vincent Pyke, Eaq., J.P.) Frioay, Jims Z. Agnes M'Pheraon, previously charged with lunacy, was, upon tha certificates of Drs. Halley and Stewart, committed to I tho Lunatic Asylum, Dunodin. WiJDXJSSDAY, JUNB 4. , (Before E. H. Oarew, Esq., R.M., and A. Stewart, Esq., J.P.) Tho application of transfer of license of the Golden Age Hotel, Waipori, from Terence Gorraly to H. M'Kayj was heard. Sub-Inspector Thompson withdrew his opposition to the transfer. Mr. Copland appeared fo» the applicant ; Mr. Mouat opposed the application, and after much argument on each side, the Bench consented to grant a temporary license. Tuesday, Juxb 10. (Before E. H. Carew, Esq., R.M.) Several cases of summonses by the Town Clerk, were settled out of Court. The District Court was opened by the Registrar, and adjourned to Friday, the 13th inst. WNkoll v. Ak Fol.— Struck out, there being no appearance of either party.
