Dam, the mare Blanch, imported by David Wishart, Esq., from Tasmania, took the first prizes at several society shows, viz. , Dunedin, Taieri, Tokomairiro, •and Clutha for the best mare of symmetry in the yards. Lord Paisley gained the tivst prize at the Clutha Society Show, in 18C8,andthe first at Tokomairiro the same year, for the best three year old entire colt at his age. lie talso obtained the silver medal at Tokomairiro Show, in 18C9, for the best colonial hoise in the yarJ, and has proved himself a sure foal-getter.
