TAPANUI RACES.
The Tapanui races took place on Wednesday, the 13th March. The attendance was fair, and the, various events well contested. Mr. H. Bastings officiated in hia usual admirable style" as judge, Mr. John Syines as starter, and Mr. J. Mooney clerk of the course, gave universal'satisfaction.
