SWITZERS ANNUAL RACES.

The Switzers Annual Races took place j on Thursday and Friday, the 14th and 15th March. The weather was gloriously I fine, and the course in fair- condition. The attendance of spectators came up to • anticipations, and the racing on the whole was good. Mr. H. N. Simson catered for the refreshment of the visitors, and, to judge from the amount of patronage he received, gave satisfaction. Mr! Braithwaite had a tea and coffee stand on the course, and received a fair share of attention. Mr. J. N. Wood filled the" office of judge admirably, and Mr. Fielding as starter, and Mr. Serrell as clerk of the course performed their duties in an eminently satisfactory manner. The stewards also deserve praise for the way in which the arrangements of the meet were carried out.
