WANTED TO KNOW.
(To tlie Editor.)
Sib, — Can you, or any of your readers, inform me if any one hi the Mount Benger District is authorised to issue miner's rights, certificates, or any other documents connected with the Warden's Office, for I find that the warden is absent on leave for a few weeks and I wjuld like to know if any provision has been made for managing affairs during his absence 1 I would much regret that an) one should misconstrue my object in writing, and imagine I begrudge our worthy warden a few weeks relaxation from his arduous duties ; but I simply think the loss of time and trouble caused to myself and others in travelling up and down the district in quest of a warden is as well deserving of consideration, as is the warden's desire for periodical relaxations from his laborious duties, — I am, &c.
Miner.
