Sir, — Upon reading jour paper the other day I saw ii stated (in the account of the Tuapeka School report,) that a communication had beon received from the " Teacher of the Mount Ida School." I am the only teacher iv the Mount Ida District School, and I beg to state that I have not senl any co>uinunicutioii either to the School Committee or to the teacher of the Tuapeka School ; an<l if you will causo that error to be reotiried in your next publication, you will very much oblige your obedient servant, Jxo. Petchell, Teacher Mount Ida, District School.
