CORRESPONDENCE.

A letter from Mr A. G. Watson enquiring if James Eastman, who died in the Hospital, was a man of colour, was received. The Secretary stated that the letter had been replied to in the affirmative. The Visiting Committee reported the affairs at the Hospital as in a satisfactory state, and made some recommendations as to the laying down of certain Hospital grounds in English grass, this being the proper time for sowing it. They also recommended that new window blinds should be procured, and some alterations made in the windows.
