WARDEN'S DECISION.
(To the Editor of the Tuapeka Times.)
Sic, — In your issue of the 15th. I observe a letter signed " Miner,'' which shows a very dangerous state of affairs. If working men are to suffer from the capricious reading of the law of a Warden where is our boasted liberty ? Every one round here knows Anderson and Vernon's old claim, and if throwing a stone over areas quite separate forms proprietorship, a good many pebbles will fly round these diggings. But seriously, the matter demands the earnest attention of miners. I would suggest a public meeting. — I am, &c, Another Mineb. Tuapeka Mouth, May 17, 1869,
