A CORRECTION.
(To the Editor of the Tuapeka Times..)
Sic, — As I did not receive your issue of the 15th inst. in sufficient time to send you correction on the 21st of errors committed in publishing correspondence signed ■" A Miner," please to correct in your following issue.
Ist. Instead of" Board of Wardens' it should have been " Mining Board.'. 2nd. In substituting " the" for "no " you have made a serious mistake, in reference to Anderson's and Vernor..'s evidence. In place of saying "they swore positively that the new application included the part of the claim formerly held together," it should have been "no part of the claim formerly held together." And lastly, where you say " the stopping of the work by the Warden throws one man out of work, with two heads of water running to waste," it ought to read, "it throws a number of men out of work, with, a head of water running to waste."
By inserting the abpve you will oblige yours, &c,
A Minek. Tuapeka Mouth, May 20, 1869.
