TEPUKE STOCK SALE.
The New Zealand . Loan and Mercantile Company report About 800 head of cattle were yarded locally on Tuesday, 9th inst, and the bulk of them sold at late rate?. TJiere was a brisk demand for yearling to 3yr old steers and store cows. A number of empty, heifers .changed hands, but sales were made under dragging conditions. Quotations : 3yr steers £6 Is, 2 to 2Jyr steers £319s to £4 15s, 11 to 2yr steers £213s to £3155, yearling steers £2 5s to £210s, 2yr empty heifers £316s to £3 19s,' Ito Hyr year heifers £2 Is to £2 IBs (id, mixed yearlings £110s to £210s, fat and forward condition cows £5 5s to £5125, good store cows £4 lis to £5 3s, smaller do £3 12s to £4, cows in milk £315s to £410s; weaner pigs, 17s. *'
