MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.

Sydney, Thursday. The mysterious disappearance of a girl named Mona West, aged 21, is causing comment. She belonged to Goulburn, and was residing, while on holiday, with her uncje, Dr. O'Hara, at Bayswater Road, Darlingshursr, Sydney.

She intended to return home on November ,5, and went out that morning to do some shaping in the city, saying that the would return for lunch, That was the last seen of her. Shortly after her disappearance, her parents received a letter in a disguised handwriting saying that she had been murdered.

Foul play is suspected, though no motive is known. She was always bright and happy, and had a host of friends, being universally admired and respected.
