C. N. M'MURDO'S TESTIFICATION.
"We have received from Mr I). E. Nicolls, of Lower Matakana, a document avMcL. purports to be a testification by our old friend, Charley McMurdo. We always thought the genial veteran was a gay old ■dog, but never dreamed that he was such a wretched sinner as he paints himself. However, we are glad to see that he has found peace and grace within the fold, as there is more joy over the one sinner that repenteth than over the ninety and niue just men.
