While the public have been bothering their heads over the mysterious movements of the Hinemoa Baton, the proprietor of the Hobson-street Cooperative Stores, has been making some wonderfully good purchases, especially in cheese. He has now a quantity on hand which he is selling at prices as low as 2d per lb • that at 4d is not to be equalled at 81 in any store in Auckland. The shipment of Taranaki butter to hand is exceedingly good, and is to he obtained at fabulously low prices- In addition to the cheap;iot of groceries now awaiting customers, Eaton has a large stock of fruits on hand, including cherries, apples, pears, strawberries, &c Everybody knows the low prices at which. Eaton's fruit is otferec'. The stock also includes.potatoes, turnips, and onions. Eaton gives more of these for a shilling than any other trader. Then roll up with your baskets to the Co-operative Stores, next CriterionHotel, Hobson-street.
