KUMEU.
A certain resident, from the style of his language latterly, has been named "The Jawbreaker."
How happy Felix seemed on Sunday in the Tbuggy, though I wonder what made him blush so on entering church.
"The Duke" was remarkably attentive to his devotions in" church, his attentions wavering between the service and a certain " blue dress."
It is a pity A.B. could not find something better to do than laugh and giggle all the time during service, even though the parson was a yery young man. Bather hot on our fiddler. It is reported that lie had offered his services for the concert, when someone (a barbarian, of course) replied, " Oh, no ; let us have a musician !" There is a considerable amount of consternation expressed amongst the jam-tarts at the report that a certain young lady is about to leave us for a neighbouring Colony.
