Colonel Header, TJnder-Secretary for Defence, dropped dead at his residence this morning.
Bacon's flourmill and timber factory at Masterton was destroyed by fire this morning. Insurances—£Boo in the United, £600 in the Union, and £800 in the Colonial office.
