The Electro-Amalgamator
Messrs Grant, Lamont and Co., of Stawell, Victoria, hare made arrangements for the use of the above process for the term of three years, subject to a royalty of one per cent, of the gold obtained, on condition (hat they introduce the process in a practical form at their works, and it is agreed to sell one-half of the patent to Messrs Grant, Lamont and Co. for the sum of £6,000. These terms have been agreed to after a trial of the machine had been made by them on some tailings, of which they hare 750,000 tons, and the results obtained gave 80 per cent, of gold extracted.
