Wellington, This day. The Island Bay Racing Club's Meeting was held to day, about 200 persons being present. The arrangements were anything but satisfactory, and on one or two occasions the starter was hooted for the Way in which he sent the horses away, especially in the Consolation Handicap. The following are the results:—Hurdle Handicap: Mainboom 1, Erebus 2, Loch Lomond 3. The totalisator diridend was £3 4s.—Exhibition Handicap: Clogs 1, The Poet 2, Eata 3. Owing to some misunderstanding alt the horses went once round, Eata coming in first; in the second run the race resulted as above. Time, lmin 50J.sees; dividend, £3 6s.—Hack Hurdles was won by Seagull from eight others.—Session Handicap: Bard 1, Clogs 2, Glaicks 3. Won easily ; time, lmin 20secs; dividend, £2 7s.—Tradesmen's Scurry was won by Doncaster; Caralry Eaee by A.G., and Consolation Eace by Pasha.
