Zebehr Pasha, his son, and three othtj prisoners have been taken by H.M.S. Iris to Cyprus. ,
Reported Kordofan ReTnllion.
Beports are current here that Kassala has been taken by the rebels and the Egyptian garrison massacred ; also that a rebellion has broken out in Kordofan, and that the Mandi has sent troops to quell it.
A Press Association message of Jhe 12th says that the rebol followers of Osman Digna make daily surprises on the British outposts at Suakim.
London, March 6.
It is probable that the War Department will purchase 25,000 carcases of frozen sheep in New Zealand, to be delivered atSuakim in lots as required for the troops
Sidney, Saturday.
■Government has received a telegram from the Agent-General,-.'stating'■■.that nearly the whole of General Graham's force has now reached Suakim, and that it will number altogether about 12,000 men, including the New South Wales contingent.
