South Ward Election.
NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES. The nomination of candidates for the vacancy whick has occurred in the Borough Council in the representation of the South Ward, took place in the Oddfellows' Hall, Richmond street to-day at noon. There were only half-a»dozen ratepayers present. .At the appointed hour Mr F. R. G, Woodward, Returning Officer, announced that the following nominations had been received by him :— Dandy, John—Proposed by J. E. Hansen, and seconded by S. Hetheriiißton. Hickbt, M.TJ.C—Proposed by John West, and seconded by J. S. Hurt. ! Munuoc.u, WiT.t.i.oi—Proposed by Albert Butler, and seconded by ! v Win. Bobbett.
