The libel case between the pressmen was continued to-day. The case for the defence is finished. Mr McMinn, the defendant, gave evidence, admitting that he wrote one article alleging that Russell had Constable Gillespie removed through malice, and denied writing the letter as to lustful advances made by Russell, but said he was prepared to take the responsibility of the publication.
