Mining Company Meeting.

The annual meeting of shareholders in the Knranui Hill G.M.Co. was held in Auckland yesterday, Mr Thomas Peacock, M.H.E.., presiding. The report of the directors detailed the work done durinn the year. The statement of accounts showed receipts from calls to have been £1,207 Is; from gold and tributers, £687 11s 2d ; crushing. £134 13s 4d—making, with overdraft, £1,521 4s Bd, a total of £3,550 10a 2d. In moving the adoption of the report, the Chairman said the operations of the year bad been very disappointing, but the directors were buoyed up with the hope that 'in such a large tract of ground as theirs there must be other rich deposits than those taken out. j The reports and balance sheet were adopted. Messrs Howard, Kidd, and Wm. Buchanan were elected directors. Mr Waymouth was re-appointed auditor.
