Thomas Madigan, the Kaiwarra tollkeeper, who waa struck by the cowcatcher of tne train he was standing to see pass, died last night from the result of the injuries, which proved more serious than was at first supposed. He stated that his brother was killed in a somewhat similar manner in England. The " Youth " Company are drawing enormous houses. Messrs Kerferd, Attorney-General, and Gillies, Minister for Railway, in Victoria, were shown round the Parliamentary and Government Building by the Premier this morning.
