The Salvation Army.
The following blasphemous extract regarding the doings of tbe above body is culled from a Borne paper :—
The following singular announcement was made some time ago in London: —" By order of King Jesus and General Booth, to be sold without reserve, 1,000,000 Salvation shares in the • New Jerusalem Dwelling Company.' These dwellings will consist of many mansions of solid gold, garnered with all manner of precious stones (Bey. xxi., 10). They will be fitted up with a patent electric light, and thus have *no need of the sun, neither of the moon.' Every purchaser will be entitled, upon presenting this coupon, to receive a robe washed in the blood of the Lamb, a golden Jew's harp, and a Salvation song book. No reasonable offer refused." - • '■• ■
