At a meeting of the members of the Scotch Church hold last evening, it was decided to secede from the church of Victoria, and revert to the position held previous to the act of union.

"The balance of the bars of gold stolon from the Commercial Bank of Australia were discovered to-day buried in tho earth at Mordialloc, 15 miles south of this city. The locality was indicated by the prisoner, Corbett.
The prisoner Burns, who waa sentenced to death for the murder of Michael Quinlivan, in 1880, was executed to-day.
