A large force of police has been drafted to Tyrone,- Ireland, to prevent rioting, which it is feared will take place in that country between Parneliifces and Orangemen. Arrived at Plymouth, P. and O. steamship Pekin from Melbourne (July 31). St. Petersburg, September 25. k , The Journal of St. Petersburg, issued to-day, states that the' Eussian Government disapproves of the Ministry recently appointed by Prince Alexander in Bulgaria, under tho new Constitution. The same journal also publishes information from Sofia that two new Ministers, Loboleff and Kaulbars, have already resigned in consequence of their fearing that dangerous measures have to be proposed by the Government.

The explosion at the Eocket Factory at Woolwich continued without intermission for upwards of an hour; some rockets travelled for miles, but in the majority of cases little or no damage was done by them, It is believed that the explosion of the factory was accidental.

Telegrams which have been received from Zanzibar report that further fighting has taken place between the Hovas and French troops in Madagascar. The former made an attack in force on the position occupied by the French on the west (sic) coast of the island, and after some stubborn fighting, lastiag several hours, the French were driven from their position with considerable loss.
