Yesterday.

Shortly after 3 this afternoon a fatal accident occurred at the timber yard of Mr Bartlett, in Harley street, to a lad named David Burns, in charge of a horse and dray. He removed the blinkers from the former, and was about to feed the animal, which started. Barns held on to its neck for a few yards, when he fell, and the wheel of the dray passed over his cbest. Fie was removed to the workshop, and spoke once or twice, " saying " What will my poor mother say ?" He died directly after the arrival of a doctor, and about 10 minutes after the accident At the inquest a verdict of " Accidental death " W|s returned.
