Auckland, Yesterday.

William Campbell, for malicious injury to the property of Mrs Robertson, at Ohinemutu, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. . . Chbistchubch, Tuesday. At the Supreme Court to-day, G-eo. W. Winter, for embezzlement from the New Zealand Insurance Company, was discharged. There was some applause, and one of those taking pirt in it was severely reprimanded by the Judge. Yesterday. The Supreme Court criminal business concluded to day, when Thomas Bobbie was found guilty on three separate charges of stealing a sewing machine. There were numerous other charges, but these were not gone on with. His Honor, in sentencing the accused to four years' penal servitude, said he believed the accused was at the head of a conspiracy to defraud the Sewing Machine Company. . Hokitika, Yesterday. At the Supreme Court to-day, the charge against James Wylde, late Town Clerk of Kumara, was resumed and concluded. Mr Harper addressed the jury for the Crown, and Mr Guinness for the prisoner. After retiring for an hour, the jury found the prisoner guilty of larceny of three contractors' deposits, and recommended him to mercy on account of the loose way in which the corporation books were kept. Sentence was deferred, as there are five other indictments against him.
