DUNEDIN.
Yesterday. The Governor stayed at Laurence, io the Tuapeka district, last night, and this morning visited the Blue Spur and other cement gold workings. He arrived in Dunedin at 5.50 p.m., and drove straight to tbi Horticultural Show, which is being held here. There was no speechifying.
The only fixture for to morrow is the reception of an address from the Chinese. ' This day. The Governor received a deputation of Chinese residents this morning, who presented an address of loyalty. In reply the Governor said he felt sure he was able to rely on the paacofulness and the law abiding feelings of the Chinese residents of tbe Colony. He said Uia tour throughout the Inland had been one of uninterrupted pleasure and satisfaction.
