Yesterday. The Commissioners who recently took evidence respecting the best route for the continuation of the maiD trunk line, Middle Island Railway, are expected to visit Wellington shortly, when their report, to be submitted to Government, will be drawn up.
Mr Milner Stephen gives another exhi~ bition of his healing powers to morrow afternoon. A small charge for admittance will be made on behalf of the local benevolent institution.
