A serious anti-coolie not bas occurred at Bundaberg. The ringleader of the disturbance has however been arrested, and the natives (Cingalese) have since gone to work.

The Argus to-day, in an article referring to the report that Sir Wm. Jervois will succeed Sir Arthur Gordon, strongly urges the expediency of appointing Sir William Jervois to Victoria instead of New Zealand.

Bligh's team v. Victoria: The latter's first innings closed for 104. In their second innings, seven wickets have fallen for 121.
