Murderers of the Joyce FamilyThe trial of another of the prisoners concerned in the murder of the Joyce family at Maantrasma, County Galway in August last, was concluded to-day, a verdict of guilty being returned by the jury, and sentence of death was passed upon the prisoner.

Frozen Heat Destroyed'

A report is current to-day that the cargo of frozen mutton per sbip Marsala, which left Dunedin on the 22nd September last, was jettysoned near Java, owing to the refrigerating machinery having broken down.

Review of British Troops

Her Majesty the Queen reviewed all the troops which have returned from Eeypt at the Horse Guards to-day. The various regiments afterwards marched through Piccadilly and Whitehall, receiv ing an ovation from an immense concourse of people assembled along the route.
