Parliament has been summoned to meet for.the dispatch of business on the'9th February.
Severe sentences of imprisonment have been passed upon persons convicted of bribery in connection with the late elections at Macclesfield and Sandwich.
Mr Michael" Boy ton, one of the chief organisers of the Irish Land League, who was imprisoned on March 9th, has now been released. Several further arrests hare been, however, made in various parts of Ireland. Among them is Mr Nillen (sic) on a charge of rioting at Bruff, near Limerick.
Cases of refusal to pay rent.are now becoming general in the west and south.
