Nominations for Kden—Messrs Header Wood and Tole. The show of hands was Tole 24, Wood 4. A poll was demanded.
Mr W> Swanson was elected for Newton unopposed. The nominations for Parnell were— Moss 24, Monk 13. A poll was demanded.
Auckland- City North — Eees 50, Garrard 9, Thwaites 4, Peacock 15. •
Franklin North—W. P. Buckland, Samuel Luke, Major Harris, , John Gordon were nominated. A poll was demanded.
City West—Dr Wallis, J. M. Dargaville, W. C. Laing, and A. Fleming were proposed. A poll was demanded. City East—Sir George Grey and J. M. Clark hare been proposed.
At the Waitemata nomination, Hurst and Allison were proposed; the show of hands was 29 for the former and 25 for the latter.
Manukaxj, This day.
Sir J. M. O'Rorke and Owen McGee were nominated. The show of hands were—O'Borke, 36; McGee 6. A poll was demanded. : .
Napiee, This day
The nominations! for the Napier Borough were—John Buchanan, Justin McSweeney, and J. W. McDougall. ':>■ New Plymouth, This day.
The nomination of candidates for Taranaki took place to-day at noon. Joseph Colesley and Col. Trimble were proposed, and the show of hands being equal, a poll was demanded; Wellington, This day. W. H. Levin and Thomas Divan were nominated for Thorndon to-day. .
Blenheim, This day.
At the nominations for Wairau to-day, H. Dodson nnd A. P. Seymour were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Dodson.
Mabton, This day. For the Rangitikei seat to-day, Sir W. Fox and John Stevens were nominated. The show of hands was in favor of Stevens, and a poll was demanded on behalf of Fox.
Hamilton, This day.
The nominations for Waipa were Whitaker, Jackson, Johns, and McMinn. The latter formally announced his withdrawal from the contest. The show of bands was in favor of Whitaker.
Mr Wbyte was returned unopposed for Waikato.
Naseby, This day
Cecil Albert DeLatour, and McKay John Scobie McKenzie were the only two candidates nominated for Mount Ida seat. The show of hands was in favor of McKenzie.
DuNEDiN, This day. Nominationsf-*flonry Smith Fish and Archibald Hilsdn Boss, late Mayor, were proposed. Shew of hands was in favor of Fish. - : / ' •■■-■•'"
For Dunedin West—Thomas Dick, William Downie Stewart, and William Jackson Barry were nominated. The Shew of hands was in favor of Dick.
The City Central nominations were— Bastings, Bracken, Graham, Dickson, and Cargill.
For Dunedin City East 0. JR. Beeves, P. N. Davis, and Mr Green were proposed. The show of hands was in favor of Davis. Invehcabgilli, This day. H. Feldwick and J. Hatch were nominated for Invercargill, the show of hands being in favor of- the former. Matattba, This day. At the nomination to-day for this district, J. T. Thompson, Captain F. W. McKeuzie, and George F.; Richardson were proposed. The show of hands was —Thompson 3, McKenzie 2, Bichardson 5. ;
