15. J.- Agg, the accountant of the Lands Department, has been committed for trial on a charge of forgery. Bail to the amount of £4000 has been accepted.
A most destructive fire broke out at a drapery store at Woodonga last night, and before it could be extinguished considerable damage was done. The loss is estimated at £5000.
Melbourne, Tuesday The Railway Accident.
Later intelligence from the scene of the railway accident at Jolimont shows that four persons have been killed, viz , Mr Ganett, Baptist Minister of Brighton ; Mr Jameson, law clerk; Mr'Baiiliere, publisher ; and a labourer, whose name is not known. The following are the names of those injured : —seriously, Messrs Bliss and Lyons, both auctioneers; siightly injured, Major Geaeh, Mr Fosbery (of the Crown Lands Office), and Messrs Elmstic, Stephen, Ben wick, and others.
7.30 p.m
It is stated that Stephen, who was seriously injured at the railway accident this morning, died this evening. It has transpired that the deceased gentleman was a relative of Judge Stevens. All the other injured persons are progressing favorably.
10.30 p.m
The report of Stephen's death lias been contradicted. Ele is still alive, but the doctors hold out no hope of his recovery. The total number of persons injured amounts to twenty. Sydney, This day. Dr Bullen lias two supposed small pox patients^under observation, and another authenticated fresh case.'wes reported to the Health Board yesterday, In the Legislative Assembly last night, Copeland moved that an address be presented to the Governor declaring that the quarantining of healthy persons ana houses supposed to be infected was cruel and tyranical, and an infringement of the liberty of the subject. Watson, Colonial Treasurer, vindicated the action of the Government in their efforts to stamp out the disease, which he believed at a time not far distant would entirely disappear.

The Queensland Cricket Association, at a meeting beld last night, resolved, that it was unable to arrange for a visit of the English team upon the terms proposed by Mr Conway, but, at the same time, the club is willing to do all in its power to assist the team if they come on their own responsibility.
