A committee has been formed to^secure the return of Sydney Johnston, brother of the Hon. Walter C. W. Johnston, who will oppose Mr Edmond at the next general election. Mr Johnston comes forward to support the Ministry.
Leckie has decided to coutest Allan Macdonald's seat for the East Coast District.
