Lilliputian Opera Company.

The second performance of this talented juvenile company was accorded a full and crowded house last night. DickDeadeye takes immensely. The animation and spirit maintained by the entire corps is quite refreshing, after the tameness associated proverbially with adult opera companies. The Josephine of Miss May Pollard last night was a charming and perfect, exposition of the authors ideal. Miss Maude Pollard's role as the First Lord, was a finished performance. Little Miss Olive Pollard as Buttercup came well up to the accepted idea of the part. Miss Lena Sallinger was a most winsome and captivating Hebe. Master Come Ormond as Ralph, and Master Herbert Sallinger as Captain Corcoran, sustained their important parts with graceful sang froid and professional ability.. The black cook, the tame bear, the grenadier aunt, and the correct but humorous military and comic business introduced reflects credit on the inventive powers of the stage manager The "lobsters," as the marines are called by the sailors, are all well posted in their parts, Mr Darbyshire, by diut of oranges and lollies ad libitum, having so won the esteem of the "petite corporal," Master Thomas Barlow, that he eaters aud exits like a professional member of the corps de kalbt. The auxiliaries all reflect ths highest credit on the management, the correct rendering of the choruses and the stage action having beea taught them ia one or two dajs.
