The New Zealand Medical Association Act was introduced in the council by Dr Grace It provides that in any provincial district not fewer than tea duly qualified practitioners may form themselves into' a provincial association, elect officers, etc., and as. soon as two or more associations have been formed, they shall elect a proportion of one in ten of their number to form a General Council of the New Zealand Medical Association, to meet annually in rotation at Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington, Nelson and Auckland.
