JNo. 3 reef: I have knocked the men off from rising for the present, as there was no gold seen in the rise since | started, and the leader is split into several small stringers. The men I have put back to clean out crosscut at this level, which intersects No. 4 winze, sunk from No. 2 level, aDd which I mentioned in my last. The manager has started to crush a parcel of about 100 tons, a slide from the hill on the Alburnia tramway, and believes it will be payable. Moanataiki.—White and party have finished their crushing of 16 tons at the Kuranui Hill battery for the yield of 26ozs lOdwts gold. Radical.—A crushing for Campbell and party, of Owharoa, produced 90ozs gold.
